1998 Ebook!

Hi, folks…

Just a quick note to inform you that the ebook for 1998 is now available on the usual page. I’m sorry this was so long in coming. I owe a huge thanks to my hiking buddy Stefaan Rillaert, who adapted Richard Lindner’s original scripts to run on Linux instead of Windows.

We’ve elected to make the books available in .epub format only going forward. The .mobi format has been deprecated for some years now, and all but the oldest Kindle e-readers should have received software updates in 2022 to let them handle .epub files natively. If you are stuck with an extremely old Kindle, you can use Calibre to convert .epub files to .mobi on your computer. I hope this won’t be too much of an inconvenience.

Now that we’ve got the tool chain sorted, new ebooks should be appearing on a more timely basis. Thank you for your patience, and enjoy the 1998 book!

Alexandria and Rhodes

Two new ebooks are available on Amazon, collecting my recently completed Analog Antiquarian series on the Library and Lighthouse of Alexandria and the Colossus of Rhodes. If you do happen to pick up one or both, or have just been reading along on this site’s sister, I’d hugely appreciate an honest review of any length on Amazon and/or GoodReads. And do remember that Analog Antiquarian patrons get a free copy of all the ebooks (he says in his best marketer’s voice).

Thank you for your support — here, there, or anywhere.

The Hanging Gardens of Babylon

The ebook version of my recently concluded Analog Antiquarian series on the Hanging Gardens of Babylon is now available, and at a special low, low price at that. (Well, it’s actually priced lower because it’s a shorter book, but it’s worth every penny, I promise you.) If you do happen to pick up a copy, or have been reading along over on the sister site, an honest review on Amazon and/or Good Reads would be greatly appreciated. Remember as well that Analog Antiquarian patrons get free copies of all the books. (Hint, hint..)

Sigh… I’ll get this marketing thing down someday. In the meantime, I’ll see you Friday with some new Digital content. Thank you for your support, Digital and/or Analog, and in whatever form it takes.

The Oracle of Delphi

Please pardon a brief Analog intrusion on this Digital world…

I just wanted to announce that the ebook version of my Analog Antiquarian series The Oracle of Delphi is now available in the Amazon Kindle Store; it includes the edited and polished final version of the text. (The same text is now on the website as well…) Or you can get a free copy of this and the previous Analog ebook, The Pyramids of Giza, by becoming an Analog Antiquarian patron. What a deal, right?

If you have read or at some point do read either or both series, whether online or in ebook form, an honest review on Amazon would be hugely appreciated. Thanks so much!
